NWGH has a dedicated Afghan Desk manned by Native Farsi / Darri speakers, who will facilitate you wherever you face a language issue.

NWGH sees many Afghan patients and the Pakistan Consulate in Kabul regularly issues visas to patients visiting Pakistan for their healthcare needs. Therefore, no special facilitation is required for patients coming to Northwest General Hospital.

There are quite a few guesthouses in the vicinity of Hayatabad, and the PR Department of NWGH will gladly assist you in finding accommodation for patient’s attendants while the patient is admitted at the Hospital.

NWGH, in partnership with Pakistan Red Crescent Society, has dedicated ambulances that can be engaged to take patients all over the region. If you are coming from Afghanistan by road, an Ambulance can be arranged to meet you at the border and take you back to the border, as required. In addition, NWGH has a dedicated ambulance facility for transporting babies called Zango, which has all the required equipment and staff for safely transporting babies from one location to another (currently within Peshawar).

There is a dedicated Bank of Khyber counter and ATM on NWGH premises, and patients can utilize them for their financial requirements.

NWGH has an online consultation facility available and you can consult with your doctor online through the facility, thus saving you time and effort.

All investigations results can be seen online or downloaded by visiting [link] and using the Access Code on your Investigations Receipt.

In the effort to facilitate patients in their healthcare needs, NWGH has started a Home Visit facility for investigations, and sending medicine through its pharmacy. You can call on 091-5838800 and request a phlebotomist to come to your home (currently in Hayatabad only) to take samples for investigations. You can also call on 091-5838800 to request medicine to be sent to your address. Our professional staff will guide you on every step of this facility.
