Dr. Roheena Zafar & Northwest General Hospital Recognised for Excellence in Patient Safety at International Conference on Patient Safety.

The International Conference on Patient Safety, 2024, with a focus on Diagnostic Safety took place on the 10th and 11th May 2024, at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. Northwest is proud to announce that Dr. Roheena Zafar, Director of Pharmacy, was honoured with the Patient Safety Champion Pharmacist Award, and NWGH received the Patient Safety Champion Hospital Award at the 7th International Conference on Patient Safety 2024. This recognition celebrates the successful journey in promoting patient safety in Pakistan. Dr. Roheena also contributed as a guest speaker on medication safety at the event. The event saw participation from JCIA and Canadian Accreditation, marking their first in-person presence in Pakistan. Over 1500 attendees, including healthcare professionals, managers, government officials, and students, gathered to advance patient safety initiatives.
