The 5th Annual Conference on Innovation in Pharmacy was organized by the Pharmacy Department of NWGH & RC in collaboration with the initiative “Giving Back to Pharmacy in Pakistan” on September 20th and 21st, 2024.

Mr. Mohammad Siddique, Director of Inpatient Pharmacy Services at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE, served as the chief guest. The scientific session commenced with a recitation followed by the National Anthem, after which the program progressed to workshops and various scientific presentations.

Participants had the opportunity to explore new advancements and innovations in pharmacy, engaging with industry leaders from both government and private tertiary care hospitals, who shared their insights and experiences.

As a token of appreciation, Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz, Chairman of AHL, and Mr. Malik Abdul Latif, Managing Director of NWGH, presented a souvenir to the chief guest.

Dr. Roheena Zafar, Director of Pharmacy, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the chief guest, speakers, the NWGH Pharmacy Team, and all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and commitment.

The conference concluded successfully with the presentation of shields to the speakers. This event underscored the NWGH Pharmacy Team’s dedication to advancing public health through education, research, and engagement with the pharmacist community.
