Dr. Faiqa Filza is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Northwest General Hospital and an Associate Professor in Northwest School of Medicine. Her role involves the treatment of the nervous system. Dr. Faiqa’s particular area of interest deals with skull base neurosurgery.

Prior to joining Northwest General Hospital, Dr. Faiqa has worked as Registrar in Rashid Hospital, Dubai. Following this, Dr. Faiqa gained medical experience when she was attached to MD Anderson Hospital, Houston, USA. She has extensive experience in performing all sorts of neurological surgeries.

Dr. Faiqa Filza is a member of the Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons (PSNS) and American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).

Dr. Faiqa Filza completed her MBBS from KMC in1996. She has the distinction of being the first female FCPS in Neurosurgery in Pakistan. She has attained a certificate in Neuroendoscopic Surgery from Switzerland and Germany. In recognition of her expertise, Dr. Faiqa was also awarded a gold medal at the National Neurosurgery Conference in 2002 for BEST PAPER AT NATIONAL NEUROSURGERY CONFERENCE.
