Prof. Khushnood Ali Baz is Consultant Orthopaedics at Northwest General Hospital and Professor of Orthopedics in Northwest School of Medicine. Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz manages patients with musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders, using both surgical and non-surgical means. His special area of interest is hand and joint replacement.

Dr. Khusnood Ali Baz holds over 30 years of experience in the field of Orthopedics. He is internationally renowned for his contribution to the field of Orthopedics. He served as president of Pakistan Orthopedic Association (POA) from 2008 to 2009. He also served as vice president of the Orthopedic Association of SAARC Countries (OASAC) from 2016 to 2018.

Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz is a member of the Pakistan Orthopedic Association (POA), Orthopedic Association of SAARC Countries (OASAC), and International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT).

Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Russia in 1983. After finishing his medical college in Russia, Dr. Khushnood Ali Baz was sent on a scholarship by the Government of Pakistan for further studies in Bulgaria, in 1986. Dr. Khushnood obtained his Ph.D. from Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Medical University Sofia, Bulgaria in 1990.
