Dr. Sardar Alam Khan is Consultant Neurology at Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre, Peshawar. His role involves treatment of disorders of the nervous system, particularly concerning the brain and the spinal cord. He holds an interest in general neurology with special interest in treatments of stroke and epilepsy.
Prior to joining NWGH, Dr. Sardar Alam completed his training in neurology in the United Kingdom. He honed his skills at a variety of hospitals such asMiddleborough General Hospital, Newcastle General Hospital, Midland center for neurology and neurosurgery, Smethwick, Birmingham, and Atkinson Morley Hospital, Wimbledon, London.
Dr. Sardar Alam Khan is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
Dr. Sardar Alam Khan graduated from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar in 1980 He then went abroad for further studies and attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), Edinburgh and later on was awarded Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians(FRCP). He then stayed on in the UK to practice in the field of Neurology.
