Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre observed International Epilepsy Awareness Day to educate the public about epilepsy, its treatment, and the misconceptions surrounding it.
The event began with an awareness walk, followed by insightful presentations from expert doctors, including Dr. Bilal Ahmad Sethi (Consultant Neonatologist & Paediatric), Dr. Muhammad Arif (Consultant Pediatrician & Neonatologist), Dr. Haroon Khan (Consultant Neurologist), Dr. Muhammad Athar Khalily (Consultant Paediatric Neurology), and Dr. Sylvia Ali Khan (Consultant Psychiatrist). They shed light on the causes, symptoms, treatment options, and the importance of community support for individuals with epilepsy.

He highlighted the need for public education, improved access to medical care, and strong community support for individuals living with epilepsy.
