Eligibility:

• MBBS or Equivalent Medical Qualification Duly Recognized and Registered with PMC
• Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in Orthopaedics department of a reputable hospital.

Job Overview:

• Aware of all relevant information regarding the patient’s admission, investigations, treatment, and management as advised by Consultants.
• Responsible for pre & post-op care, discharge summary, death certificate, documentation, patient general condition, response to treatment, and handover/takeover of patients responsibly.
• Follow relevant clinical and administrative procedures in a controlled and coordinated manner.
• Responsible to undertake routine emergency and patient-specific activities under direction of Consultants regarding patient care, management investigations, treatment, and disposal i.e., discharge, summaries/Death Certificates.
• Ensure all incoming patients are attended to immediately, history is taken, and other relevant investigations as advised by the Consultant are carried out.
• Counseling of patients/attendants regarding patient condition.
• Conduct rounds with the Consultants for their assigned beds, and remain apprised of all patients admitted under their care. Responsible to carry out all instructions.
• Maintain signed Drug Charts for the Nursing staff to carry out orders.
• Responsible for custody of patient file, ensuring it is updated daily and entries of staff are signed clearly.
