The Advanced Joint Head and Neck Fellowship graduation ceremony, held on January 4, 2024, was a success, showcasing the collaborative efforts of Northwest General Hospital & Research Centre and Rehman Medical Institute (Official). The event began with a warm welcome, followed by addresses from Prof. Dr. Tariq Khan, Chairman, AHL, Dr. Zia Ur Rehman, CEO, NWGH, and Prof. Dr. Mohibullah Khan, Consultant ENT, and Head & Neck Surgeon, NWGH. The deans offered insightful remarks, and supervisors shared valuable insights. Candidates presented their work, leading to a vote of thanks. Acknowledgments and congratulations were extended to key figures, including, Dr. Zubair Durrani from RMI’s Maxillo Facial Surgery, and Dr. Imran Mohib Khan, Head and Neck Specialist, NWGH. Dr. Bakhtyar Zahid, Dean RMI, celebrated the one-year collaboration, expressing gratitude to all involved. Prof. Dr. Sidra Jabbar, Dean NWGH, emphasised the programme’s commitment to community service and interdisciplinary collaboration. The fellowship certificate was awarded to the first fellow, Dr. Hamid Mukhtar, by Dean RMI, Dean NWGH, and his supervisors. Dr. Zubair proposed a Cleft and Cranio Facial Fellowship to Prof. Dr. Sahibzada Mehmood Noor, CEO PGMI. The ceremony also focused on garnering support from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre and Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar for future collaborations and extensive exposure.
